Cheek Enhancement (Augmentation & Reduction)
What is Feminizing Cheek Enhancement?
Women’s cheeks are often fuller and their cheekbones project further out from their face. Feminizing cheek enhancement gives the cheeks a more feminine shape and projection.
Enhancing the cheeks with the aim of feminization involves either:
- Cheek Augmentation: placing implants over the bone, under the skin to increase the fullness of the cheeks while eliminating sallowness, or,
- Cheek Reduction: reducing the width and/or the prominence of the cheeks.
- Volume Enhancement with Fat Injections: improves the size and shape of the cheek when the face is somewhat thin or deflated.
What are the benefits of Cheek Augmentation?
Feminizing Cheek Augmentation makes cheeks appear fuller and more prominent, while reducing the appearance of sallowness. Depending on your facial shape it may round the face and increase a softer, more feminine appearance.
How is Cheek Augmentation performed?
Cheek Augmentation is performed under general anesthesia, with incisions made on the inside of the mouth to insert implants. There are various sizes and shapes of implants to meet individual desires and underlying bony contours. Cheek augmentation leaves no visible scars.
What are the benefits a Cheek Reduction?
Feminizing Cheek Reduction reduces the prominence of the cheeks, allowing those with excess fullness in this region to have more balanced facial features.
How is Cheek Reduction performed?
Cheek Reduction is completed under general anesthesia. Incisions are generally made in the mouth and in the scalp, leaving no obvious external scarring.
